Introduction

At CLASS (Citizen’s Legal Assistance and Support Services), we remain committed to ensuring that marginalized youth, including those with disabilities, have access to justice, economic opportunities, and representation in policymaking. Our latest planned project focuses on addressing the socio-economic and legal barriers preventing these groups from full participation in society.

Project Overview

This initiative seeks to empower marginalized youths in Mogadishu through research, advocacy, and awareness campaigns. By gathering evidence on the challenges they face, we aim to influence policy and legal frameworks to foster inclusion and participation.

Why This Project?

Many young people with disabilities, along with other marginalized groups, struggle with barriers in education, employment, and governance participation. Their voices are often unheard due to the absence of strong advocacy and representation. Through this project, CLASS intends to:

  • Engage with policymakers to advocate for legal and policy reforms.
  • Train and empower youth to become advocates for their rights.
